Nii Amasa Oseiku – Amasaman Mantse, Alfred Annang Mensah – Head of Mensah Ayettey Family, and other dignitaries regret to announce the sudden demise of their beloved: STEPHEN OKPOTI MENSAH (ESQ.) a.k.a. S.O., a Barrister at Law, aged 64 years.

According to the family, there will be no wake-keeping. Viewing of the body will take place on Saturday, 7th February, 2026, from 5am to 7:30am. The burial service will follow at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church, North Kaneshie at 8am, with a private burial.

The final funeral rites will be held at E. O. Mensah’s Family House, Bubiashie near CAC No. 2 Assembly, on Saturday, 7th February, 2026. A thanksgiving service will take place on Sunday, 8th February, 2026, at Good Shepherd Methodist Church – North Kaneshie at 8:45 am. Mourners are requested to wear black and red attire on both days.

Stephen Okpoti Mensah is survived by his widow, Mercy Dodua Ankrah; children: Lydia Naa Gogoi Mensah, Samuel Nii Ayertey Mensah, Stephanie Naa Baakor Mensah, and Prince Nii Ayertey Mensah; and a grandchild, Caelan Maame Nyarko Drom Otchere.

The family has expressed gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time and invites friends and sympathizers to join them in celebrating the life of the late Stephen Okpoti Mensah.
