Driver Injured in Ejisu-Adadientem Road Accident

A severe road accident occurred on the Ejisu ManhyiaAdadientem stretch in the Ashanti Region, involving a Ford bus with registration number AS 985622 and an articulated truck with registration number AS 529616.

The collision left the Ford bus badly mangled, trapping its driver, Kojo, inside the wreckage. Passersby rescued Kojo, who sustained serious head and face injuries. He is currently receiving medical attention at the Ejisu Government Hospital.

A doctor at the facility, speaking on condition of anonymity, disclosed that medical personnel will perform further procedures on Kojo’s head lacerations to determine the full extent of his injuries.

The articulated truck, driven by Muntari Konaba, reportedly experienced a brake failure, leading to the accident. Investigations have been launched, and concerns over road safety and vehicle maintenance along the Ejisu ManhyiaAdadientem road continue to rise.
