Business

Bolt Food Ghana reaffirms its commitment to creating jobs as it expands services and recognises top couriers, while regulators praise its role in formalising delivery in the country.

Country Manager Ali Zaryab said the platform not only brings convenience to customers but also generates income opportunities for couriers and supports local businesses. “Our platform not only brings convenience to customers, but it also creates income opportunities for couriers and supports local businesses,” Zaryab stated.

Highlighting the company’s dedication to its workforce, Bolt recently honoured Abdul Rahman Ishack as its “star performer for 2025,” recognising his exceptional contribution to the courier network.

The Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission (PCSRC) also commended Bolt Food’s impact. Director of Licensing & Regulation John Oletey Otuteye noted that the growth of formal delivery services improves the Commission’s ability to enforce standards and protect consumers. “We welcome the efforts of legitimate operators that bring structure to the courier industry, create jobs, and help us ensure regulated, safe, and reliable delivery services for Ghanaians,” Otuteye said.

Bolt’s expanding partnership network and increasing courier base align with both the company’s growth ambitions and the regulator’s push for a more structured logistics sector. The collaboration signals a promising future for formal employment in Ghana’s booming delivery economy, benefiting couriers, businesses and consumers alike.
