Absa Bank Ghana ushered in the Christmas season with a heartwarming Nine Lessons and Carols Service held at the Palms by Eagles Hotel in Accra.
The event brought together Absa’s management, staff, valued customers, and distinguished guests for an evening of reflection on gratitude, unity, and goodwill. It formed a key part of the bank’s end-of-year activities, offering a platform to express thanks to customers for their loyalty throughout the year.
Speaking to Joy Business, Nana Essilfuah Tamakloe, Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Absa Bank Ghana, highlighted the crucial role customers play in the bank’s success. “We celebrate today because we have prevailed over the challenges the year presented, and that is a testament to the strength of our partnerships,” she stated.
“Without our customers, we would not have a business, and we are grateful to have come to the end of the year with their unwavering support,” she added.
Ms. Tamakloe further reaffirmed Absa Bank’s dedication to providing exceptional and customer-focused service, assuring clients of the bank’s continued commitment to designing solutions tailored to their needs.
The Service featured insightful scripture readings from prominent figures including Mr Joel Nettey, Chief Executive Officer of Ninani Group; Mrs Faustina Anyemedu, Vice Chairperson of Unicof – Absa Bank Ghana Ltd; Mr Danquah Addo-Yobo, Country Managing Director of Newmont Ghana; and Mr John Awuah, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Association of Banks.
Renowned gospel groups, Joyful Way Incorporated and Harp Chorale, led the congregation in uplifting carol performances. Prayers offered during the service underscored themes of hope, reflection, and thanksgiving as the year draws to a close.
