Omnicom Expands into Ghana with New Entities

Business

Global marketing and communications giant, Omnicom SA, has restructured its Ghana operations, transitioning to two new affiliated entities – Optimal International Media Network Limited (branded as Optimal OMD) and RFG Media Network Limited (branded as RFG PHD) – effective July 22, 2024.

The move, according to a press release, aims to strengthen service delivery and deepen integration with Omnicom’s global network, ensuring continuity and stability for partners and clients in Ghana.

The company stated that the local team, now fully operational and led by the West and Central Africa hub, has finalized its structure to guarantee seamless service delivery for all accounts.

“This opportunity offers a better, more dynamic integration with the global network, which, in turn, gives all our esteemed clients across OMD and PHD a more enhanced service delivery in Ghana,” the release indicated.

Marco Santos, a contact at Omnicom Media Group, and Alaba Fadero, Regional CEO for Omnicom in West and Central Africa, are available for further inquiries regarding the transition. The restructuring is expected to provide improved resources and expertise to clients within the Ghanaian market.

Omnicom’s decision reflects a broader trend among multinational corporations to streamline operations and enhance local capabilities to better serve their clientele in key African markets.
