Cudjoe), Nana Kwesi Ackon V, Chief of Mampong & Mankrado of Sekondi Traditional Area, Queen Mother Nana Ewui Krumah II, (Ahanta Mampong), Opanyin Kweku Prah Ghartey, Ebusuakyeame Egya Kweku (Ahanta Mampong), and Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Christ Congregation Adenta, regret to announce the passing of their beloved Mr Daniel Ampadu Nyarko (aka Yaw Mensah), which occurred on Wednesday, 26th November 2025, at the 37 Military Hospital, Accra.

Funeral and burial arrangements have been announced as follows: There will be no wake-keeping. On Saturday, 14th February 2026, viewing will take place from 6 AM – 7:30 AM at his residence, House No. 5 Volvo ST, GD-001-6547, East Adenta, followed by a burial service from 8 AM – 11 AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, Adenta. Interment will be at Obomeng Presbyterian Cemetery (Private), and final funeral rites will be held at Joanz Place near NPP Office, Adenta, immediately after the burial service.

On Sunday, 15th February 2026, a thanksgiving service will be held at 9:30 am at Christ Presbyterian Church, Adenta, followed by a family gathering at his residence. The attire for Saturday is black and white, and all white for Sunday. Chief mourners include Obomeng Kwahu Ofiri Bokye Aduana Abusuapanin Op. Kwadwo Nyarko (Nkawkaw), Nana Barfour Nyarko Kyerefour (Werempehene of Abene Kwahu Traditional Area), and many others.

Mr Daniel Ampadu Nyarko (aka Yaw Mensah) is survived by his widow, Very Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Laurene Rosemary Nyarko; siblings, Op. S. K. Nyarko (Nkawkaw) and Obaapanyin Akosua Darkoa (Nkawkaw); children, Pastor David Agyei Nyarko, Naval Capt. Rev Dr Edward Owusu Nyarko (Rtd.), Dr Mrs. Beth Offei-Awuku, Pastor Mrs Fay-Dora Baidoo, LR Dr Mrs. Laurene Boateng, Ms Joanna Nyarko (Lay Preacher, MCG); nephews and nieces; in-laws; and grandchildren.

All friends and sympathizers are cordially invited to join in mourning the passing of Mr Daniel Ampadu Nyarko (aka Yaw Mensah).
