Hasaacas Ladies have narrowed the gap with the top two teams in the Southern Zone of the Ghana Women’s Premier League after securing a win over the weekend.

The Hasmal Ladies achieved a narrow victory over Oak Ladies on Saturday, with Abiba Issah scoring in her second consecutive game for the club.

This win brings the club within two points of Army Ladies and one point behind Jonina Ladies, who are currently second in the league table.

Army Ladies, who are at the top of the league, suffered a defeat at the hands of Epiphany Warriors, losing 1-0 at home on matchday 10.

Jonina Ladies managed to pick up only one point from their meeting with Soccer Intellectuals after a 0-0 draw. This result marks the first time this season that Jonina have failed to win back-to-back games.

LadyStrikers emerged as 1-0 winners over Samartex Ladies at home, as the latter continues to struggle at the start of the second round.

Police Ladies secured all three points against bottom-placed Halifax Queens while on the road.
