Miss Ghana 2026 Auditions Set for June 27 as Pageant Marks 69th Edition

General

The search for the next Miss Ghana queen is set to begin on Saturday, June 27, 2026, as auditions open for the 69th edition of the country’s longest-running and most prestigious beauty pageant. The event, organised by Exclusive Events Ghana, will take place at Oak Plaza Hotel on Spintex Road in Accra, running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This year’s edition carries the theme “Empowering Women, Enduring Legacy,” a nod to nearly seven decades of the pageant’s role in identifying and nurturing young Ghanaian women who embody beauty, intelligence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. The eventual winner will represent Ghana at the Miss World pageant and spearhead charitable initiatives through the Miss Ghana Foundation.

Prospective contestants must be between 18 and 26 years of age and are expected to demonstrate confidence, moral uprightness, and a genuine engagement with community affairs. Candidates will be assessed on communication skills, creativity, and overall personality, with the audition process also featuring a talent showcase where aspiring queens can display abilities ranging from singing and dancing to spoken word and rap.

Inna Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, spoke with evident pride about the pageant’s legacy. “For nearly seven decades, Miss Ghana has empowered young women to inspire change, celebrate culture, and represent the pride of Ghana to the world,” she said. “Now, a new chapter begins. The countdown to Miss Ghana @69 is officially on.”

The Miss Ghana pageant has historically served as a launchpad for young women who go on to make significant contributions in public life, media, and business. At a time when conversations about women’s empowerment and representation continue to gain momentum across Ghana and the continent, the 69th edition arrives with renewed purpose.

Interested applicants can visit the official website at missghana.com.gh to download application forms and review detailed entry requirements. The auditions are open to women from all regions of the country, and organisers have encouraged aspiring contestants to apply early.
