First Atlantic Bank has successfully completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO), recording a significant oversubscription and demonstrating strong investor confidence in the bank’s future prospects.

The IPO, which concluded on Friday, December 4, 2025, garnered widespread interest from both institutional and individual investors.

The Bank is now scheduled to list on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on Friday, December 19, 2025, with trading of its shares expected to begin on the same day. The listing ceremony will bring together key players including regulators, market operators, and investors.

Management says this listing marks a crucial step in First Atlantic Bank’s strategy to enhance corporate governance, strengthen regulatory compliance and secure access to long-term capital.

According to the bank, the oversubscription is a testament to its consistent financial performance, driven by sustained profitability, balance sheet growth, and significant investment in cutting-edge digital banking infrastructure. It has prioritised innovation, robust risk management, and customer-focused products to bolster its competitive edge within Ghana’s dynamic banking sector.

“We are grateful to the Bank of Ghana, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Pensions Regulatory Authority, and the Ghana Stock Exchange for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this process,” the Board and Executive Management stated.

Looking ahead, First Atlantic Bank intends to utilize its bolstered capital base to fuel business expansion, deepen financial inclusion across the nation, pursue regional growth opportunities, and further contribute to the development of Ghana’s capital markets, all while promising sustainable returns to its shareholders. The bank reaffirmed its commitment to its vision of becoming “the Global Bank out of Ghana.”
