ComUnity Spaces Opens East Legon Hub, Marks Milestone

Business

ComUnity Spaces officially opened on 4 December with a networking‑style year‑end party, underscoring the growing role of collaborative workspaces for Ghanaian entrepreneurs.

The event, held at the centre’s new phase that began operating in late July, welcomed existing members and prospective clients for guided tours and a showcase of its community‑focused model.

Managing Director Maud Acquah told MyJoyOnline.com, “we believe in building more than just a workspace,” and added, “We’re creating a community where different professionals can connect, collaborate, and grow together.”

The space brings together a diverse mix of businesses – from law firms to management consultants and HR specialists – under one roof, offering a supportive ecosystem for startups and emerging enterprises.

To mark the occasion, ComUnity Spaces launched a year‑end promotion offering a twenty‑percent discount for new members, with extra perks for the first ten sign‑ups, including a free meeting‑room pass and co‑working day passes aimed at firms planning ahead for 2026.

Acquah expressed optimism about the coming year, describing 2026 as a “year of abundance” and reaffirming the centre’s commitment to exceptional customer service and a nurturing work environment.

Partners at the event also praised the venue. Managing Partner Ebenezer Ahulu of AOB & Associates said, “Our firm has been with community spaces from day one, when we started as a firm. I must say, the experience has been great. They offered exactly what we needed, something that we could afford as well. It’s something that your pocket can also afford. The customer relations, they receive, your guest, your letters, it’s perfect. So, for me, I will recommend it on any day to anybody.”

The launch signals a broader shift in Accra’s business landscape, where shared environments are increasingly seen as vital hubs for networking, innovation and growth.
