The Christ Business Network (CBN) has reaffirmed its commitment to faith-driven enterprise and national transformation as Ghana navigates a period of economic challenges and calls for ethical leadership.

At the network’s 9th Annual Congress held in Accra on Friday, December 5th, 2025, Dr. Daniel Kwame Ampofo Adjei, PMP, was re-elected as President for a second three-year term. The congress saw the election of a new team to lead the CBN, including Ms. Abigail Ama Darkwa Yeboah as Vice President, Mr. Nicholas Asare Tetteh as General Secretary, Mr. Francis Donkor as Financial Secretary, Mr. Nana Baffoe Ekuban as Treasurer, and Mr. Felix Glover as Organising Secretary.

Addressing members after his re-election, Dr. Ampofo Adjei linked the Congress’ theme, “Arise, Build, and Occupy the Kingdom of God,” to the current realities facing the nation.

“In a season where businesses are struggling, families are under pressure, and integrity is under attack, God is calling His people to arise and build sustainable enterprises, and occupy territories with righteousness,” he declared.

He further urged Christian professionals to actively contribute to Ghana’s economic recovery, emphasizing the need for solutions that combine expertise with strong moral principles.

“The church must not be absent from Ghana’s economic recovery. Whether in SMEs, technology, agriculture, or public service, believers must provide solutions that marry competence with character,” Dr. Ampofo Adjei stressed.

A key moment during the Congress was the presentation of the 2024 Financial Report, followed by robust discussions and the adoption of resolutions. This highlighted a growing demand for transparency, good governance, and institutional maturity within Christian organizations.

The CBN, a network of graduate professionals from the Christ Apostolic Church International, aims to leverage the skills and resources of its members for the benefit of both the Church and wider society. The network focuses on fostering fellowship, networking, and service, with a vision to be a primary resource for the body of Christ.

Its core objectives include promoting unity, advancing the Great Commission, supporting the spiritual and physical growth of the Church, providing mutual support, organizing professional and faith-based programs, and empowering members to establish viable businesses that contribute to national development.
