The Ministry of Education has confirmed that all teacher allowances for November 2025 have been fully paid, resolving a recent technical hitch in the payroll system.
A statement released by the Deputy Minister for Education, Clement Apaak, explained that the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) had successfully processed and disbursed the allowances. However, a technical issue during the final payroll run initially prevented the payments from going through.
“This unforeseen challenge has since been resolved by the CAGD, paving the way for the completion of the payments,” the Ministry stated.
The Ministry extended its sincere apologies to teachers affected by the delay, acknowledging any inconvenience caused. It also expressed gratitude for their patience and unwavering dedication to the nation’s educational system.
“We deeply appreciate the commitment of our teachers, whose efforts remain central to the delivery of quality education across Ghana,” the statement added.
Authorities have assured that ongoing collaboration with the CAGD and other stakeholders will continue to improve payroll systems and prevent similar occurrences in the future. The Ministry is committed to ensuring the timely and efficient payment of teacher allowances.
