SOHO December Shows Feature Amakye Dede and Reggie Rockstone

SOHO Bar & Restaurant at Marina Mall, Airport City, is set to ignite the festive season with three nights of electrifying live music and nightlife this December.

The mini-festival, scheduled from December 23 to December 25, 2025, will feature a blend of Ghanaian music legends and the hottest contemporary club sounds. Following the SOHO events, Amapiano shows will continue at Luna Rooftop Bar on December 27 and Sunken Gardens on December 28.

The festivities kick off on Tuesday, December 23, with “Amakye Dede Live.” The highlife maestro will grace the stage from 7 PM, backed by a full live band, promising an evening of timeless hits and golden-era melodies.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, SOHO will host “Reggie’s All White Party,” a sophisticated celebration honouring Reggie Rockstone, the pioneer of Hiplife. Attendees are encouraged to don their finest white attire for a night dedicated to Rockstone’s enduring influence on Ghanaian urban music.

Christmas Day, December 25, will see the “Amapiano Invasion” take centre stage, headlined by Sandy MRD. Doors open at 7 PM, and revellers can expect pulsating Amapiano rhythms, soulful grooves, and a vibrant dance floor.

Broadcaster and DJ Andy Dosty will serve as the host for all three nights at SOHO, ensuring a seamless flow of entertainment and maintaining the high energy throughout the events.

Reservations and table bookings are currently being accepted via 050 982 3414. Organisers say the series is designed to appeal to a wide range of music lovers.

“We wanted to create a December experience that celebrates both the rich history of Ghanaian music and the exciting new sounds coming out of Africa,” a representative for SOHO stated. “This line-up offers something for everyone.”

With its diverse programme, SOHO’s December line-up is poised to become a premier destination for holiday entertainment in Accra.
