RNAQ Foundation Expands Anti-Hunger Efforts with Techiman Food Bank

Local News

The RNAQ Foundation has inaugurated its Techiman branch, a move aimed at bolstering the organisation’s fight against food insecurity across Ghana.

A delegation led by Mr. Emmanuel Lamptey, CEO of Quick Angel Limited and Director of the RNAQ Foundation, officially opened the facility in the Techiman Metropolis on behalf of the Foundation’s President, Mr. Richard Nii Armah Quaye.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Lamptey emphasized the significance of this expansion, describing it as a crucial step towards realizing Mr. Quaye’s long-held vision of a hunger-free Ghana. “This initiative is fueled by the President’s personal commitment to humanitarian service,” he stated. “We aim to reach as many vulnerable citizens as our resources allow.”

The Techiman branch represents the 13th location established since the foundation’s launch on August 1, 2025. This brings the RNAQ Foundation closer to its objective of having a presence in every region of the country.

Beyond merely delivering short-term assistance, the Techiman food bank will serve as a centralised hub for nutritional support within the community. Officials anticipate that by streamlining the distribution of vital commodities, the foundation can substantially ease the everyday challenge faced by many households in securing food.

The facility boasts a meticulously designed system to ensure aid reaches those most in need, showcasing a contemporary approach to charitable work.

Nana Kwame Brafi, Chief of New Onyinasi, represented the King of Techiman, Nana Akumfi Ameyaw IV, at the inaugural ceremony. He conveyed deep appreciation to the RNAQ Foundation for selecting Techiman as the location for its newest branch and offered prayers for the team’s success and the well-being of the Quaye family.

“We are profoundly grateful to the RNAQ Foundation for choosing our metropolis,” Nana Brafi said. He further encouraged residents to safeguard the facility to guarantee its sustained operation.

Local residents expressed their enthusiasm, with one attendee noting, “We have followed the foundation’s progress on social media and television. To now have a branch right here in our neighborhood is a blessing. God bless Nii Armah Quaye.”
