Pearl Andrews Wins Ladies Division B at Tafo Golf Tournament

Pearl Andrews of Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans is celebrating after winning the Ladies Division B at the prestigious Tafo Open Golf Tournament.

Andrews showcased a remarkable performance throughout the two-day competition, ultimately securing victory with a winning score of 138. This win further solidifies her position as a prominent figure in Ghana’s growing corporate golfing scene.

The Tafo Open, the flagship event of the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana Golf Club (CRIG), was held at New Tafo-Akyem in the Eastern Region. This year’s tournament attracted 54 golfers, including international participants from France and Canada, demonstrating its increasing popularity.

According to organizers, the Tafo Open serves not only as a platform for competitive golf but also as a valuable opportunity for business and social networking. Companies were also able to showcase their products and services during the event.

“The Tafo Open is about more than just golf; it’s about building relationships and fostering growth within the business community,” a tournament official stated.

The tournament is a key component of CRIG Golf Club’s annual calendar, which includes club championships, monthly medal events, and other competitions designed to promote the sport and strengthen bonds among its members.
