National Service Personnel (NSP) have been reminded that today, Friday, December 12, 2025, is the strict deadline for completing the ongoing Regional Validation Exercise.
The National Service Authority (NSA) issued a statement on Friday, urging all personnel yet to be validated to report to their respective regional centres before close of business.
According to the NSA, the validation exercise is a mandatory requirement for maintaining active service status and ensuring continued eligibility for all associated benefits. It is also vital for the smooth administration of national service duties nationwide.
The Authority warned that failure to validate by today’s deadline will lead to the forfeiture of NSP status, in line with established regulations. This means personnel who do not complete the exercise risk losing their allowances and official recognition as service members.
The NSA is also working to dispel misinformation circulating on social media platforms claiming the deadline has been extended. “Any claim suggesting that today is not the deadline is false and misleading,” the statement emphasized.
The Authority reiterated that publications and messages circulating on social media suggesting differently should be disregarded entirely, stressing that such information did not originate from the NSA.
“We appreciate the prompt cooperation of all NSP and encourage those yet to validate to do so immediately to avoid any disruption to their service,” the NSA stated. The Authority is keen to ensure a seamless completion of the exercise for all personnel, safeguarding their benefits and ensuring accurate service records.”
