Lordina Dramani Mahama welcomed Liberia’s First Lady, Mrs Kartumu Yatta Boakai, and South Africa’s former First Lady, Tobeka Madiba-Zuma, to the Lordina Foundation’s fifth quarterly health-screening programme for retired Assemblies of God ministers and their spouses in Accra on Friday.

The event, organised by the foundation’s President, forms part of a continuous effort to promote the well-being of retired clergy through regular medical examinations, fellowship and free medical supplies across the Greater Accra East and West regions.

Mrs Mahama described the two guests as “inspiring sisters”, noting that their presence underscored solidarity and sisterhood among African women leaders.

“I am deeply grateful to my two inspiring sisters for their unwavering support and encouragement. Together, we are making a meaningful impact. Thank you, Your Excellencies, for gracing us with your presence. May God bless you abundantly,” she said.

She reaffirmed the foundation’s guiding philosophy that “the more we share, the more we have”, adding that the quarterly screening continues to touch countless lives.

Pastor Boateng Sarpong, chairman of the Lordina Foundation, reflected on the significance of the fifth and final screening session for 2025. He thanked retired ministers and their spouses for their faithful participation and praised the medical team for their professionalism, compassion and dedication.

In his address, Pastor Sarpong highlighted the programme’s spiritual and humanitarian purpose: to provide health support, strengthen bonds within the retired clergy community and reinforce the foundation’s mission under Mrs Mahama’s leadership.

The chairman also called for prayers for Mrs Mahama, her husband former President John Dramani Mahama and their family, and expressed gratitude for the grace that has carried the foundation through another successful year.

Looking ahead, the Lordina Foundation has pledged to broaden its health-support interventions in the coming year, aiming to reach more beneficiaries and deepen its legacy of compassion and service.
