Accra – The Farmer’s Day Weekend culminated in a vibrant showcase of Ghana’s culinary scene with the successful hosting of the Gastro Feastival 2025 by Charterhouse on December 6th and 7th at The Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

Thousands flocked to the event, lauded as Ghana’s biggest food festival, to experience a unique blend of food, music, and insightful knowledge sharing. Attendees included food enthusiasts, families, young professionals, and key stakeholders in the agribusiness sector.

The festival grounds were a hive of activity, offering a diverse food market with both local and continental dishes. Patrons enjoyed creative cocktails, interactive cooking sessions, and lively competitions. Vendor showcases highlighted established and emerging food businesses giving them a platform to connect with customers.

Beyond the gastronomic delights, the festival featured electrifying performances from celebrated artists such as Medikal, Kojo Blak, Cina Soul, and The Ark Band. These acts contributed significantly to the festive mood, keeping the crowds entertained throughout the weekend.

Gastro Feastival also incorporated ‘The Knowledge Hub’, a platform dedicated to shaping the future of Ghana’s agrifood landscape. This included masterclasses led by industry professionals, engaging panel discussions on sustainability and innovation, and pitch sessions for young agribusiness entrepreneurs. According to organizers, the Hub aimed to foster collaboration between farmers, processors, investors, and innovators.

Held in partnership with the Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture & Agribusiness, the festival underscored the importance of supporting local producers and strengthening the agricultural value chain. “This event is a tribute to our hardworking farmers, the backbone of our nation,” a representative from the Presidential Initiatives stated.

Attendees praised the festival’s organization, the wide variety of experiences, and the successful integration of entertainment, education, and culinary exploration. Charterhouse expressed its gratitude to sponsors including Enterprise Life, Blue Skies, Tasty Tom, and Joy FM, as well as exhibitors and all those who contributed to the event’s success.

Gastro Feastival 2025, according to Charterhouse, is an annual event designed to spotlight Ghana’s food tourism, culinary talent, and agribusiness innovation, ultimately championing local industries and celebrating the nation’s rich food identity.
