Accra's Young Professionals Find Relaxation at Corona Sunset Session

Accra residents are set to experience a unique respite from the city’s relentless pace with the upcoming Corona Sunset Session.

Scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Bella Afrikana, starting at 3:00 PM, the event promises a chilled atmosphere with performances from Susan Augustt, Josh Blakk, and other artists.

Corona Extra Beer is positioning the Sunset Session as a refreshing escape designed for young professionals navigating the pressures of modern life – constant notifications, demanding side hustles, and lengthy commutes.

The brand aims to promote well-being by offering a “gentle pause” and a “chilled-life reset,” reinforcing its long-held identity as “the chilled life in a bottle.” Inspired by Corona’s global “Disconnect to Reconnect” purpose, the session encourages attendees to embrace genuine connection and the beauty of the sunset.

“For young Ghanaians who are constantly moving, we want to offer more than just a party — we want to offer a genuine moment of pause,” said Jerry John Quaye, the Brand Manager – High End at Accra Brewery PLC.

“This session is about trading screen time for sunshine, and digital noise for genuine connection,” he added.

The event will feature a curated lineup of activities designed to foster ease and relaxation, including live music, mural painting workshops, a crocheting masterclass, wellness stations offering massages, and interactive games alongside DJ sets.

Corona Beer intends for the Sunset Session to be the first in a series of events dedicated to prioritising ease, balance, and genuine human connection, inviting Ghanaians to slow down and appreciate the present moment.
