Food Crisis in Ghana: Theft of Essential Supplies Delays School Reopening

The theft of over 150 bags of maize and other essential food supplies from a warehouse in the Northern Region of Ghana has exacerbated the food shortage, potentially delaying the start of the new academic term for 15 senior high schools. The stolen goods also included agricultural chemicals and fertilizers, some of which were earmarked for the Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Service.
