Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper and songwriter, Amerado, has announced the 2025 edition of his annual concert, My Motherland, slated for Sunday, December 28th, 2025, at the Okese Park in Ejisu.
The concert, quickly becoming a major event on Ghana’s entertainment calendar, is renowned for celebrating music, community, and national pride. Over the past two years, My Motherland Concert has consistently drawn crowds exceeding 10,000 attendees.
Despite offering free entry, the event rivals some of the country’s biggest ticketed concerts in terms of attendance and production quality. Organizers say its impact is comparable to popular Accra-based events like Rapperholic and Zaama Disco, highlighting Amerado’s growing influence and connection with his fanbase.
The 2025 edition promises a more vibrant experience, featuring energetic performances, surprise guest artistes, and a showcase of Ghanaian music and culture, with Amerado as the headline act. It aims to continue fostering unity and providing a platform for youth engagement and the promotion of local talent.
“This concert represents my roots, my people, and my responsibility to give back through music,” Amerado stated ahead of the announcement. “Ejisu is home, and every year we raise the bar.”
Music lovers and cultural enthusiasts are encouraged to save the date and participate in what is expected to be a standout event during the festive season.
