KGL Foundation Provides New Toilet Facility for Adukrom PRESEC

The KGL Foundation has handed over a newly renovated 24-seater water closet toilet facility to the Presbyterian Senior High Technical School (PRESEC-A) in Adukrom, Eastern Region. The upgraded facility, replacing an existing 12-seater, is expected to significantly improve sanitation for students.

The project also complements two mechanized boreholes previously provided by the Foundation to address water needs at the school. This commitment to improved facilities comes as a direct response to an appeal made by the school authorities.

Speaking after the commissioning, Nii Ankonu Annorbah-Sarpei, Head of Programs at the KGL Foundation, emphasized the organization’s dedication to student welfare and educational infrastructure. “This upgrade underscores our commitment to creating a conducive learning environment for students,” he stated.

The KGL Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the KGL Group, focuses on driving sustainable social impact through interventions in key areas. These include Health, Education, Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment, as well as Arts, Culture and Sports.

“Our investments are fundamentally aimed at transforming the lives of Ghanaians,” Mr. Annorbah-Sarpei added.

Mary Lomokie Amlalo, Headmistress of PRESEC-A, expressed profound gratitude to the KGL Foundation. “The old facility was in a very deplorable state,” she noted. “We are thankful for this gesture and assure the Foundation that the school will ensure the facility is well maintained for the benefit of generations of students.”

Over one thousand male students of Adukrom Presbyterian Senior High Technical School are expected to benefit from the modern water closet system.
