Award-winning Ghanaian singer, King Promise, has revealed that his parents are eager to become grandparents, frequently asking him about plans for children despite his not being ready for marriage.
The ‘Terminator’ hitmaker, speaking on Hitz 103.9 FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, shared that his parents have begun directly expressing their desire for a grandchild.
“It’s gotten to a time when my parents say they want a grandkid. They say ‘all these kids in your video, you know, give us a grandkid’,” he recounted.
King Promise, who was recently crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, explained that while he has encountered many women, he feels it’s not yet the right time for him to settle down.
“I am still a young man navigating through life. As I get older, I will definitely settle,” he added.
The singer also disclosed a shift in his priorities when it comes to choosing a life partner, stating that physical attraction is no longer his primary focus.
“Now it’s not about physical. If I feel you, I feel you,” King Promise stated, indicating a preference for emotional connection.
Meanwhile, the artiste is gearing up for his highly anticipated ‘Promised Land’ concert, scheduled for December 30th, 2025, at the Ghud Park.
