Among those rising stars is Lalid, whose 2025 hit, “The Matter,” captured the attention of the nation and led to a highly anticipated remix featuring rapper Medikal. Having started his musical journey in 2018, Lalid has consistently built momentum, and industry observers predict a breakthrough year for him in 2026.

Gonaboy also solidified his presence, with his street-commanding single “Same Timbs” resonating with listeners. Before “Same Timbs”, Gonaboy had already established a strong fanbase with his 2023 anthem, “Abele,” which became a household name. Kojo Trilla, representing the Asakaa collective, broadened his reach with a collaborative project titled “How did we get here” alongside Asakaa pioneer Reggie Osei. The project showcased Trilla’s lyrical prowess, leaving fans eager for more versatile work from him in the future.
