“It’s a relief because we’ve always yearned for this, that we worked tirelessly over the years, and we are beginning to see that it’s bearing fruits now,” Anang said, reflecting on the years of perseverance that have led to this moment. “We’re also reaching out to the corporate spaces and all stakeholders to come on board, together, because there are many things that we can do together,” he stated. Adjetey Anang envisions a scenario where financial backing from corporations allows for expanded opportunities, bringing in diverse skill sets, fresh creative ideas, and valuable resources that can propel the theatre sector forward.

“It starts with us, doesn’t it? I mean how we relate to one another, how we hold each other in high esteem, is so crucial and when it starts at home then the world looks at us and say these people are one and so united front, oneness even when we have differences, we don’t wash our dirty linens in public. Let us keep together and be each other’s brother’s keeper so that once we have the united front, nothing can break us and so we remaining in oneness is very crucial in this sense”.
