Organisers of AfroFuture Ghana have unveiled the second wave of confirmed artists for the 2025 edition, announcing Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema as the headline act.

The two‑day festival returns to El Wak Stadium on December 28‑29, promising a blend of music, culture, art and community activities.

Joining Rema is Ghanaian pop sensation KiDi, whose highlife‑infused Afropop has earned him acclaim across Africa. “We are thrilled to have KiDi on board as a home‑grown anchor for the festival,” said Catherine Mensah, Programme Director of AfroFuture.

The expanded roster also features international DJs such as Skyla Tylaa, DJ L A J, DJ RBnice, Flygerian, DJ Mohogany, Afrolektra, TMSKDJ and DJ Oreo. Celebrated hosts MC Lola, Kojo Manuel, Princess AJ and Michael Nichols will steer the event’s on‑stage energy.

This wave builds on a previously announced line‑up that included Asake, Moliy, King Paluta and TxC, positioning AfroFuture 2025 as one of the year’s most anticipated cultural festivals.

Beyond live performances, the festival will showcase creative installations, an AfroFuture Art Gallery featuring diaspora and African artists, and a Fashion Night Out spotlighting fifteen designers. Brand activations such as the Martell VIP experience and a Vendor Village with thirty‑five food, art and fashion stalls will enrich the visitor experience.

Community‑focused events include the AfroFuture Foundation x Black Health Connect fair, wellness series, masterclasses under The Future Makers programme, film screenings and book talks, all aimed at deepening engagement with African heritage.

According to Culture Management Group, AfroFuture Ghana 2025 seeks to celebrate African nostalgia while propelling the continent’s creative evolution forward. Tickets are now on sale through official channels.
